EFLC crash

Featured Replies

Hey everybody!

Its been a week since my EFLC randomly started crashing. I don't get much time to play it, but I like to open it or mod it whenever I get a chance. Some one week ago, I decided to play it after my hectic schedule which lasted for about one month and magically, the game quit loading and CTD even before getting to the loading screen. The last time I opened it, I didn't have any errors and I did NOT install any mods meanwhile. As I said I don't have much time to play, I didn't investigate the problem any further and moved on, but today I was free and I attempted everything I could think of to get rid of this error:

It looked like a .NET Runtime error so I repaired my client and extended (4.0) versions. Didn't work. Reinstalled and cleaned the registry. Didn't work. Restored the vanilla backup. Didn't work. Renamed paul.dll to paul.old. Didn't work.

Funnily tho, my GTA:IV runs smooth and haven't crashed even once. But yeah, for some weird reason, my Open:IV crashes immediately while accessing GTA:IV files and works smooth for EFLC.

Anyone knows whats goin' on?

This is the exact code I get when OpenIV quits just after clicking on GTA:IV:

OpenIV Exception was happend too early, UI can't show it.
