Rage Hook and LSPDFR crashing when starting up

Featured Replies

I too have the same issue.

I have tried:

Fix

  1. Open the RAGEPluginHook settings menu (hold down SHIFT immediately after clicking RPH)
  2. Increase 'Plugin timeout threshold' to a higher value (e.g. 30000)
  3. Save and Launch

I have set RPH:

Windowed mode, window mode no border,  Timeout 10000,20000,30000,35000,40000,50000 and 60000 and combinations of all of these.

I deleted the game and ALL user file saves and directories, reinstalled. (Twice)

Windows 10 IS up to date

AVG disabled or enabled, changes nothing

I CAN run GTA V

I tried running RPH with no mods or with, still no run.

I tried running GTA V, open story mode, load RPH, still no run

I've read Redit support on this, watched youtube (including the french one)

Trainer works: TrainerV

I created Mods and Scripts folders (Empty)

I am at my wits end. I love this mod and had few issues with v3. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. I included EVERYTHING I can think of (file uploads and screenshot)

Thank you for the speedy response.

Still no change. Downloaded the d3d11.dll and deleted startup.rphs.

Yes, I have run RPH as administrator and for whatever reason, I cannot run GTA V from steam or local as "administrator"

I'm not sure if this means anything but, the RPH splash drops down to the lower left hand corner before it crashes to this screenshot.

Also, I'm an old gamer and a past forum moderator as well. It has been my understanding that when players have the same issue, we post in one topic post to help condense "like" issues and make it easier for others to "chime in" with fixes, ect..... But, I will adhere to your request.

@spfundhe You are right. But you both don´t have the same error as long as I see in the logfile, that´s what I mean. It´s difficult to hanlde different errors in one topic. 🙂

When you run GTA and RPH as admin, please make sure that Steam is not running as Admin. 2 years ago I had an issue and i have changed the settings as followed:

                         RPH: Run as admin

GTA5.exe and GTA5Launcher.exe run as admin

                         Steam: Don´t run as admin.

Please try this. When it don´t work, please try to delete everything except LSPDFR and RPH. (Trainers, mods, scripts ect).

Also try to start RPH without loading any plugin at startup.

Ok, I'm done..... New install (again) wiped profiles just to be sure, loaded only lspdfr and rph and still crash. Thanks for the help, but I've wasted soooooo much time on this and research to find a fix.
