Convert ELS vehicles to Non-ELS

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm new here so please excuse if I'm not posting this in the right place or if this is a dumb question but, as the title says, I'm looking to convert some cars from ELS to non-els. How would one go about doing this?

Thanks!

Hi willrocks117,

Welcome to the community! ELS and non-ELS vehicles use very different systems to produce the effect of emergency lighting. Generally speaking, making the conversion between ELS and non-ELS is likely to be more painstaking than rebuilding the models from scratch!

Your best bet is to identify the key features of the ELS models which you like (e.g. the particular lightbar, or interior setup) and see if you can find anything similar to that in the non-ELS world.

All the best,

Wilhelm
