Rage Plugin Hook Error

Rage Plugin Hook Error
I have an error with Rage PH, it's "bad antivirus" or something.
I know that's because the folder of GTA V isn't called "Grand Theft Auto V"
But my folder it's called like that. I installed Modded GTA in a external hard drive, and when i launch the game i get that error, but in my main hard drive (C:), the games works properly.
¿There's some way to get the game works in a external hard drive?

No need to say sorry. We all have real lifes and that should be Number 1 😉

You said you can´t go ingame but your log said you was playing?

Also you didn´t install SearchWarrant properly. You missed the darkmyre.api. Please go to the site where you donwloaded Search Warrant and search there for the api.

I can't go ingame when i have the game folder in a disk that isn't (C:), but, when i try to go ingame in another disk (a external one) the rage plugin hook gives me that error

The log says that im ingame because i have the folder in (C:) Disk

Do you install a frsh game on the external? Or just opy and paste the folder?

By the way, playing games like GTA5 isn´t recommend. An external drive via USB is much slower as your internal drives. Why you want to put it on an external?

To get started, i copy and paste the Unmodded GTA V in the external drive, and then added Rage Plugin Hook, but, when i want to play in the external drive gives me that error. So, i just cut and pasted the folder en the disk of my PC (C:) and then i CAN play. I want to put it in my external drive because i dont have space in my (C:) Disk, i only have 500 GB, and, in my external one 3 TB. (Yep, that's a lot)

Is yourexternal drive pluged in via USB? Then forget it. You never get fun of the game. You should invest in an internal SSD or something.

I am not sure but I guess Rage is picked up the GTA5.exe from your windows registry. Your game on external drive isn´t known by windows, so when you start Rage it will find the Version on your internal drive and start this exe.  You could edit the exe, but if you don´t know what you are doing you should let the hands off this. Could ruin your wholes OS.

But there's some way to make that? The registry thing?

Yes. But I don´t would do that.

The easier way is to deinstall the game on C. Then install it on your external. Plugged out your external and install it on C. Then you have both in your registry.

Btw what external drive do you use?

Seagate Expansion Drive 3TB, very good one, a lot of space for work things and obviously, games. ¿Why i bought a external drive of 3TB instead of buy an internal disk? Because i bought the external one when i have another pc with more space, now dont lmao

thanks for the help btw
