Title says it all. Ragehook opens GTA, takes me to black screen then GTA launcher appears "GTA has exited unexpectedly" I've been reading the forum all day trying to find fixes and no such luck! Any help would be great, thanks!!

Bumping because I am having the exact same issue. I installed via the guide provided, ran RPH and my game is crashing almost immediately giving me the "GTA has exited unexpectedly" with the Retry and Safe Mode options.

Good morning, So I have had this issue happen to me plenty of times. These are the steps I did to fix it. Uninstalled GTA V and deleted the folder, reinstalled it, installed LSPDFR then installed RPH. I then launched RPH clicked the little settings icon that pops up on RPH start so I can run the plugins on start up. I then had to go to another setting on RPH I forgot what tab it is but it has a drop down menu and I have to run RPH in window mode. I let it completely start up then press ALT+Enter to go to full screen mode. This worked for me I hope it does for you as well! Good Luck

Hello HEIMINFLUGER! Thank your for the advice. Although I have tried all of these already. Im on my third clean install already. LSPDFR first then RPH. I have forcewindow mode ticked and don't even get the chance to ALT ENTER at start up because it crashes so fast. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Oh jeez, okay and your virus protection as well as firewall have exceptions for rph or are set too off?

Rage hooks is allowed through my avast anti virus. Struggling to find if I somehow have another anti virus on here I don't know about lol. Not sure that I do

I actually deleted my avast because it was causing my game to crash even with the exception. 

Adding the GTA 5 folder to my exceptions in Avast fixed my issue. Thank you HEIMINFLUGER!

Uninstalling avast did it for me! Thank you so much. I think I'll shoot avast an email see if anything can be done cause I really do enjoy using the service.
