Headlight Brightness

Featured Replies

I finally got around to making my ELS lights brighter and I'm very happy with results with one exception: headlights are now too bright. Researching online I came across multiple references to "car.defaultlight.day.emissive.on" and similar as well as details on how to change them. Unfortunately, these two lines had no effect on reducing headlights. I'm assuming there is something else I need to adjust in the visualsettings file to reduce the brightness of headlights? Can anyone help please?

try tweaking these ones found in the same area as car.defaultlight.day.emissive

car.headlight.day.emissive.on            50.00
car.headlight.night.emissive.on            30.00
car.headlight.day.emissive.off          0.000
car.headlight.night.emissive.off        0.000

car.defaultlight.day.emissive is generally for any light that isn't head/tail/turn/reversing

Thank you. I'll have a play around and see what works 🙂
