Sorry a little new here, I'm trying to install the update for the game (retail box) But it keeps erroring and i have looked it up on google and tryed to fix it but no go,

Try this:

Go to cmd, type in: cd 'C:\ [location of the update file] -f'

I think you have to go folder to folder.

Example: cd Users, then cd Anthrax12 and such.

Then type in UpdateTitle.exe -f <Location of your Grand Theft Auto IV folder>.

Then it should work.

Are you running the update directly from the rar file?

If you do, extract it to the Desktop and try doing the cmd method or just normally running it.
