So I got through the whole install, loads up fine and everything seemed great till I started adding plugins and vehicles

 

I found that buttons were doing multiple things like ELS is interacting with smart radio... stuff like that.

Also i found when adding vehicles, the car names are mostly the same and overwrite each other? so highway patrol is POLICE1 and replaces the original POLICE1 (this is just an example not the actual file names)

I am also trying to use an XBOX controller. since its more comfortable to me.

 

I ended up deleting the whole game and re-installing. I can now see why making a copy of the game folder is important.

 

Any tips or ideas how to make the game run smoother?

Alright, first let's start with the basics. Have you downloaded in this order: LSPDFR and RPH again?

If so, what plugins are you looking to add? Also, what vehicles do you want?

Yeah, LSPDFR and RPH run great before adding plugins.

 

The plugins i added were:

police smart radio

simple trainer

arrest manager

traffic control

traffic police

lspdfr+

Alright, so the only one that I would suggest removing from that list is LSPDFR+. Some aspects of it have been known to cause LSPDFR to crash.
