Hey guys, as you can probably tell, my name is Clint. I'm new to this game.. but it intrigues me as I am close to entering the academy at my local police department. I love police work and I love helping, protecting, and serving the people of my city. I am currently fighting the 'crash at launch' problem. It only began after installing LCPD FR, but I'll get it figured out. Sorry if this isn't the appropriate area for this- not a 'computer smart' or message board frequenter, just wanted to introduce myself!

Welcome, as you may have guessed this is a VERY, VERY common problem, first thing is first, Do you have the "1.0.7.0 patch for GTA IV"? if not here's a link: http://support.rockstargames.com/entries/484496-grand-theft-auto-iv-patch-7-title-update-v-1-0-7-0-english-1-0-6-1-russian-1-0-5-2-japanese

Secondly, if this doesn't work try re-installing the game and make sure to back up ALL files before putting LCPD:FR back in to your scripts folder. Also, do you have any other mods? "First person mod" or every car in the game modded?
