ELS - Strange AI Behavior

Featured Replies

I have had ELS installed for some time, but just recently got to adding my own ELS vehicles.  I am using the method that allows for additional custom cars vs replacing already existing cars.

I have noticed now, that when I am using the ELS functions, the AI acts like half of the people are insane.  Some examples:
-Only some vehicles respond to lights and/or sirens

-If I am parked on the side of the road with stage 1 lighting on, some drivers will flip out and take off like scared cattle, causing a big scene and crashing everywhere.

-When attempting to pull drivers over, many of them will just stop in the middle of the road.  When using a non-ELS vehicle "most" drivers pick a much better spot to stop

In order to add (vs replace) custom vehicles, I had to use a custom gameconfig.xml file.  Are there some settings in there that might have something to do with ped/driver behavior?
