So at one point, the materials or something got messed up. I'd advise to just restart from the beginning.

Ah! I suspected that might be the case. at least I have half a clue what I'm doing now lol. I reckon what happened was when I built my custom lightbar, I just built it in the same z3d file as the car was in and carried on from there. Do you think to avoid this happening again, I should build the lightbar separately and merge it with the car, follow the steps to make it ELS compatible as normal and then import it after that?

Thank you so much for your help as well, really appreciate it. It's such an intimidating thing to start out with when you don't have a clue what you're doing, but I feel like I'm learning bit by bit.

I’m having similar issues!  Very new to modding. Actually this is my first attempt with z modeler all together and first car I’m trying to put together. The car looks great in ZModeler3 and I managed to get the “police” file exported. But when I try to export “police_hi” it comes up as having 0kb.  I believe I did everything correctly up to this point. I can get the car to show up in open iv with the yft and ytd file and it looks great (other than no paint textures yet). Any help as to why it won’t export my “hi” file correctly would be greatly appreciated!!
