Problem with asi loader and mods

Featured Replies

Hello, I just installed a new 0.4 and I downloaded some car mods and created mods folder for them. When I try to open Ragepluginhook with asi loader and vehicle mods enabled it crashes when the game is loading. Without asi loader it works fine but vehicle mods are not working. What do I need to do to play with car mods? Thank you.

Hey i'm hoping i can help.

1. Have you changed the gameconfig (Must be done with mods) ? If not this is the one i always use and it always works. Here (I'm using GTA V + LSPDFR with mods and cars so i can confirm it's working.)

2. If you look in the link i gave you it also suggests to use 2 ASI files these days to bypass Rockstars limit on how many dlc's it can load.

3. So also download this

4. Also download this

That's it! You should hopefully be able to run LSPDFR along side your favourite mods.

If you need any more help i'll try my best.

Ok then let's try some troubleshooting.

Can you confirm that GTA V loads without LSPDFR and your mods ? If it loads up then that's a bit bizzare but we can still try other things. If it doesn't, it says to me that you've maybe added something wrong when adding your mods.

Did you install the files i told you correctly ? it seems you know modding and i am not questioning your abilities but it's just something more to confirm that you've done everything correct on your end.

E.g did you place the HeapLimitAdjuster into your GTA directory along with the PackFileLimitAdjuster ?

Did you put the game config in the correct directory using OpenIV ? The c orrect location being = mods/update/update.rpf/common/data.

Lastly how many mods are you trying to use with LSPDFR ? If under 10 could you list them so i can take a look and see if anything is outdated/conflicting.

I'm currently using Addon Peds/Addon Cars ( multiple in one folder and multiple individual folders ) and a Addon base folder for all the police replace cars so i don't currently see why you can't get it to run.

Hello again, yes my GTA is working just with LSPDFR and some callouts with vanilla cars and peds. And yes, I installed everything like you said, into GTA folder and into mods folder and update.rpf/common/data with OpenIV.

My game is crashing when I use asi loader from OpenIV ASI manager, without it everything is working fine.

I tried to use these car mods, new EUP and this uniform pack from Sam:

This is everything I'm trying to use. Thank you very much for your help man.
