can you just simply move your mod folder from .3 to .4 i assume you can since it still the same game if so why can't i not load my mod police cars when i use trainer i keep spawning a vanilla one

It's advised that you start with a clean copy of GTA V with no mods or plugins if using version 0.4 for the first time.

yes is what i got that was the first thing i did get a clean copy

You can just move the mods folder over, however, you do need to openiv, direct it to the new gta path, and reinstall the plugins from tools>asimanager. Don't forget to get the latest version of scripthook also.

 

Sometimes after installing those plugins you will need to restart your computer, is recommended to do so.

 

Don't forget to rename your old gta folder, with .3lspdfr, if your gonna keep it. lspdfr.4's folder needs to be the only one named Grand Theft Auto V. When opening OPENIV after renaming your .3 lspdfr folder, it will ask you for the new path to gta.
