Attaching Extras to Moving Parts

Hello ya'll,

I'm looking to attach an extra (extra_1 etc) to moving parts such as a door and boot (trunk). I know how to attach objects and so on but my thinking is by attaching the emissive the entire moving object would flash as well, wondering if that would be the case. If not, how would I attach the emissive in the case of movable objects?

 

*After years of playing GTA I finally decided to look into doing my own stuff, so I am learning.*
