Handheld Mic / Shoulder Mic for computer.

Featured Replies

So I was thinking about something, to make the RP more realistic.

Do any of you know of Shoulder Mic's compatible for Computers, and that works with them? Most Shoulder Mic's only works with their own brand, so mainly looking for something with a jack stick, that would go into the computer.

You might be able to find a shoulder mic like this and get it to work? Would definitely be some trial and error.  https://www.amazon.com/Microphone-Headphone-Handheld-Shoulder-External/dp/B07QJ6KGL5

Looks like this guy has a trrs 3.5mm jack which means you would need a trs to trrs adapter if plugging it in a traditional computer that has both a mic and audio port. But if plugging into a modern laptop with 1 combined port for both mic/audio, you might get this to work. I have no idea if the trigger would work or if that operates with the walkie in some form or fashion.

But at the end of the day my thought is a mic is a mic and a speaker a speaker so in theory the computer should recognize it. If all goes well that is.

That's cool and all but i highly doubt the computer would recognize the ppt button on it. Say if i wanted to use it on TeamSpeak and i wanted to assign the ppt button to it i doubt windows would recognize it.
