Help I dont know what to do

Featured Replies

Okay so yesterday I installed lspdfr and watched a step by step tutorial on how to install lspdfr 0.4 and its working fine my problem is I cant find the police vehicles in open iv to replace them and I can only find patchday 1 3 5 17 and none of them have vehicle files in them. I also have menyoo and a few addon vehicles and one addon pack I dont know if this would conflict with the patchday files please help.

I realized its 0.4 not 4.0

Before you do anything, make sure you have copied and pasted your update folder into a different folder that is called 'mods'. This is crucial to prevent your game from going corrupt. After you have done that, use open iv and browse to your update folder (the one inside your mods folder) Then use this pathway: OpenIV > GTA V > mods > update > x64 > dlcpacks > patchday20ng > dlc.rpf > x64 > levels > gta v > vehicles.rpf. drag your vehicle files into vehicles.rpf.

I will do that I've decided to wipe everything clean and reinstall I didn't want to have to do that but I was being dumb even though it was just a copy and paste I didn't make a backup so this time around I'll make a backup and do the steps you have told me. Thank you I'll tell you how it goes

You do not need to find the old police files to add a new vehicle in, they just need to go in the latest patchday, if you are starting fresh with adding vehicles like you said I recommend using this process

Spoiler

If you need to know how to add vehicles as addon instead of default (a must now pretty much) then you can learn Albo's way. Just watch video 10 first, and ignore what he says about gameconfig file, he updated it to come with one. And then video 12.

replacing the default slots is not necessary, and leaves you with a limited number to add. this process will show you how to add them in as if they were default, and instead add them as addons.

When you installed gta5 did you play throw the intro? you should have more patchdays than that.

what version is gta5 on? go to Grand Theft Auto V>GTA5, right click on it and go to details, version is there, should be 1604.1
