Usually I can fix my own game, but I'm stumped. I installed the new LSPDFR 0.4 yesterday, and played it for quite a while, and it worked fine. Today (I haven't changed anything in my game since yesterday) the game opens with Rage hook, loads up normally with all the Rage hook messages, but when I get into the game, it says "LSPDFR Loading..." in the bottom right corner forever, and it never does. Pressing the button to open the Rage hook menu does not do anything. The menu, the Ragehook, and LSPDFR 0.4 worked fine yesterday.

same here, was playing all day yesterday went to bed, tried to play some today havent changed anything and rage loads and it gets stuck on black screen on startup,  i even changed my threshold to 30000 and 60000 and turned off my anti-virus like it says but nothing, 

I tried uninstalling EUP (since you don't really need it now and it was glitchy when I did play) and now the Rage stuff loads but it starts on a black screen with "Loading LSPDFR..."

 

So the EUP stuff had something to do with it.

Yeah the same thing happened to me idk.

I am having same problem, tried the fix from this video but the only change is that now I see a message when my game finishes loading that says (BLOCKING PLUGIN! WARNING! "LSPD First Response" was terminated because it caused the game to freeze.) But the game still runs and shows LSPDFR loading like before. I am using a clean Steam copy with nothing added other then the LSPDFR automatic install.

FIXED!!! I followed these instructions from TreadRed the thread LSPDFR 4.0 Crash 

 

1. Start rage, press settings
In the general tab set the threshold to 50000 and tick disable text rendering
in the advanced setting make sure nothing is ticked
in the game setting>command line switches make sure the only things ticked are directx11 and forced windowed mode.

 

Note: I also selected the load all plugins option in RageHook but i suspect LSPDFR would load just fine through commands as well.
