How to edit timecycle to make nights brighter?

Featured Replies

I have mixed and matched graphics mods and am happy with the result - all except for night, which is dark.  I'd like to make nights brighter manually and avoid any other graphics files.  I was mislead originally and thought it was the visualsettings, but now I know it's the timecycle.  Only problem being, I don't know which timecycle, nor do I know the value names.

Anyone ever dived into this and can help me out?

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

You should be able to edit them in notepad+ like the carcols and such but I do believe that was program you could also use

The only one I found was a SanAndreas program.  There is this topic, but based on the reply, he removed it.  (checked his profile as well, it's gone)  https://forums.gta5-mods.com/topic/11262/tool-wip-timecycle-editor

I'm assuming timecycle1 is the one I need, but I don't know for sure if the values I'm looking for say "night" in them or not.

I think it would more be more like 1600-1700, 1900-2000 and such so 24hr time.

Use this timecycle modifer editor.

Key Values to edit, that worked for me.
Natural Ambient - Down Color (Click on each color you want to edit and change it to something brighter , I use orange but for a more realism use a light gray)

Natural Ambient -Down Intensity (set value to 1.000 ) that should be more than enough.

Natural Ambient - Base Color ( I used the same exact color as Down Color but I'm sure you can trying something else if you like)

Natural Ambient - Base Intensity ( These values for me are all under 0.3, and I'm still not entirely sure what it edits exactly)

Be sure to do this for every timecycle you want brighter nights on .
HOPE THAT WORKS. Happy Gaming !
