LSPDFR Sync Not Working?

I'm trying to sync. It just says:

 

"LSPDFR Sync is unavailable. Check your connection."

 

My internet connection is clearly fine, seeing as though I'm able to make this post. What is broken here? v0.4 is so awesome aside from this!

I've personally synchronized my profile with LSPDFR in-game and there is not the "LSPDFR Characters" in my profile.

I read somewhere recently that you may have to select a default browser:

You also have to sync the character in the character selection menu.

LSPDFR sync just crashes LSPDFR when i trie to set it up 

And then it says sync is unavailable when i reload LSPDFR
