I cant switch my modded cars out...!!!!!?????

Featured Replies

I have a modded car saved under police.wtd and police2.wtd but i found some cars i like better. every time i try to use spark iv to overwrite them and save in then i start the game and i still have my old cars... any help would be awesome

You have to do:

-open Spark IV (as Admin)

-open Vehicles

-import your new cars (important is the same name)

-the new cars are in spark IV blue

-save the folder and wait for the confirmation

Now the new cars should be in your game...

(for information: probably there are only taxis, policecars, your new car and one other type of car.

In this case you have to download "Traffic Flow" or something like this)

or use this...

http://www.gta4-mods.com/tools/gta-override-12-f15452

gives you a new vehicles image file that GTA 4 uses to load vehicles from first then ignore the original games installed vehicles.

saves messing about with the default vehicle.img file and keeping all your modded vehicles in one place.

(note: Doesnt over-ride the TBoGT or TLAD vehiles, that requires some further changes that Ive made personally and can explain if required.)

i figured it out i think....from what i found you can only do one car at a time. then save spark iv. then close it out and reopen it. and put the next one in. sorry if i wasnt clear in my original post. i was trying to put two cars in spark iv at once and i dont think you can do that.....thanks for your comments though guys.
