Hello everyone and hope your having a super weekend.

 

I have a question and wanted to ask here and hoping for some wise advice.

 

I have GTA5 on steam and like everyone else run my LSPDFR via Rage Hook & Script HookV etc.

 

Now Rockstar update their GTA5 regularly it appears but i would hazzard a wise guess that those updates mostly are tweaks and fixes and updates for the Online play. 

 

Now sadly i never set my Steam up so that i could choose if i wanted it updated, it currently auto updates. Which means at this moment my GTA5 is totally uptodate but so much so that i cant play LSPDFR due to Ragehook and scriptHookV being out of date until updated.

 

So my main question is this. Should i set up my GTA5 to NOT auto update and let it stay at its current version until i ever choose to force it to update? My worry is that Mods like LSPDFR, RageHook and Script HookV will always be updated to match the latest GTA5 at some point. But if GTA5 isnt really gonna be any different apart from for the online gamers tweaks, will it matter if i never update the game itself?

 

Right now i am happy to wait for LSPDFR 0.4 and its updated supporting Ragehook and ScriptHookV. But wanting advice for my future.

i don't think we can disable auto update GTA V on steam.

i myself have a backup of old GTA V patch.

every time GTA V updates via steam, i always overwrite GTA V with my backup files.
