so i hope someone could help me i just installed the mod and have the Rage hook up to date but everytime the game opens there is a short sound from the startup and then it crashes instantly maybe someone knows a solution

Its probably because GTA V updated and the version of ScriptHook V does not support it. Same thing is happening to me 😞

ok well i guess now i see my problem scripthook is for 1604.0 and gta is currently 1604.1

 

Correct. I'm pretty sure that you can revert to an older version if you made one with RPH.

well thats too bad for me i just downloaded it today so i guess there is no way for me to downgrade to 

v1.0.1604.0

 

 

That's not really the problem, dude.

Do this:

1. Download GTA 5 to have a clean version. 

2. Backup the GTA 5 clean version!
3. Install LSPDFR manually by drag-and-drop to your  GTA 5 directory.

4. Install RHP manually by drap-and-drop to your GTA 5 directory.

5. NOT NECESSARY: Delete "dinput8.dll" in your GTA 5 directory.

6. Start RHP.

Troubleshooting:
7. Go to RHP settings, if RHP crashes and go to "Command Switch" activate "Force DirectX 11" and "Force Windowed Mode".

8. When GTA 5 starts, just press F4 and type "LoadPlugin LSPDFR" or something like this. The autocomplete will help you😀

ok so i did as you said but it still crashes when i put direct x 11 and window mode

i solved it. problem was the advancedhook asi

 

@Criox I am currently having the same problem with my gta 5 crashing at start up. What did you do to fix it?

@OfficerAndy well i just deleted my asi files. cause at that time scripthook wasnt up to date with version 1604.1. also delete scripthook and try it again. but now you should be able to play with scripthook and the asi files included wiht LSPDFR cause its for version 1604.1 now
