When starting LCPDFR I instantly fail because I am in a mission?

Featured Replies

So everything is set up, rage hook, lcpdfr on GTA V, the police stations are on my map. I click F4 and it comes up etc etc. I start the game in story mode where they're robbing the bank.

But when I type, for example, 'gotopd' it will instantly fail me because I am in the middle of a mission. I waited a bit and did more of the mission, but again it keeps failing me.

Do I need to play the game to a certain point? I have watched lots of videos and I noticed that when other people's load up it's a man in a house.

So confused.

Thank you.

Hello,

In order to access LSPDFR, you need to play through the prologue. That means finish up the mission in the snow map and move on to Los Santos. Once you have completed that repo mission that follows, then you can freeroam and access LSPDFR.

Hope That Helped!

Thank you very much.

How long is the prologue and when do you move onto Los Santos?

So far they've robbed the bank....then once you've passed that you have an introduction.

You then get in one of the cars and follow that man to the parking lot. You then need to evade the police and take the car back to the dealership.

This is where I have got to so far. Every time I enter LSPDFR it just goes to mission failed because I left my partner, abandoned car etc.

The prologue isn't long at all, just play through it until you are in free mode and can do whatever you want.

Yeah I have done it now thank you.

Just took me so long because my computer is so laggy.

Decided just to uninstall the game unfortunately.

I tried lots of alterations, but my laptop just can't handle the game.

My comp is:

Intel Core i5 3230m CPU @2.60 GHZ . 4GB Ram.  64-bit operating system. Intel HD Graphics 4000

It is so laggy that it's not enjoyable to play 😞

Yeah probably and I can't afford a new computer at minute.

Will just have to play the Xbox 360 version of the game without the mods

It's annoying because there's no game out on the market which allows you to be a police officer and drive British police cars. Surprising really as there's such a huge market for it.
