Rage crashing the game when hooking game instance

Hey, I've played LSPDFR in the past perfectly, but I recently reinstalled it and it's crashing.

I followed the installation instructions perfectly and have done lots of troubleshooting using the RPH options such as disabling direct x hook, running via admin, disabling the lspdfr plugin. Every time, the game launches but once rage tries to hook the instance, it crashes. I've also tried launching the game first (which works perfectly) THEN launching RPH. The game works fine until RPH tries to hook the game instance, then it crashes.

I've triple checked that everything is up to date. I've tried with and without Script Hook V, Script Hook V dot net. If someone could lead me to the directory where I can find the logs, that would be much appreciated.

Ripping my hair out over this one. Never had it crash like this. I've completely reinstalled the game multiple times. Any help would be really appreciated.

My specs are as follows:

GTX 1060 6GB

i3-8100 (Weak, I know, but I've never had issues before with LSPDFR and GTA 5)

8GB DDR4

2TB Hard Drive (No SSD)

running the game at medium settings, 900p. I've tried on fullscreen, windowed and windowed borderless.

^ Regardless of the settings shown in the video and if admin mode is on, the game crashes in exactly the same way.

^ I have tried with and without tabbing in/out, same result regardless.

EDIT: I feel really stupid now haha. I fixed it. I'm using avast, had to temporarily disable it and then the game works perfectly. I'll try to figure out how to add an exception in avast now.
