ELS Lights discoloured

Featured Replies

Hi there, I am a frequent member here in the LSPDFR community. I have a problem with my lights. Whenever I turn them on, all the lights do not show up bright red and blue normally. How can I fix this? Included is a picture of this Crown Vic as an example. Please note that all credits go to the person who made the model.

No picture to show proof of lighting issues

Do you have Radiance V or any other custom visualsettings file? If no, i recommend this:

Spoiler

It makes your lights really bright and it makes them look 10x better.

In the picture above is that supposed to be normal?

Generally modded vehicles will have dim lights as in your screenshot. To get around this, as TheOken suggested, make sure you have RadianceV or any other visualsettings.dat mod installed. That will increase the brightness of the lights.

When in game, bring up the pause menu, and go to your GTA settings.  Find the option "postfx".  Set it on high or ultra.

"Shader Quality" also needs to be set to high or above.
