Can't edit any Inis to change mod controls?

Featured Replies

Some mods I recently installed have conflicting controls and when going to edit them, I'm left with an error message saying something to the effect of contacting of the owner of the file for permison for editing? I'm the only user on my  computer so I'm the administrator, can anyone tell me the problem?

My guess is that there is an LSPDFR mod that you want to change the keybindings for. If so, my question to you would be do you have notepad++?

I do not. Just using regular standard notepad. Would that be the issue? Edit: Just downloaded and used Notepad++ and that worked. Thanks Bud

Do you mean the generic HUD? The GTA 5 one?

Yes? Or even a modded one that you may know of if that's the route I have to go.

I believe that in the settings for GTA 5, it gets rid of the minimap and that is all. There is no keybinding for getting rid of the minimap. As for like callouts and trainers and stuff like that, in the config file there should be a line for changing the keybinding.
