Just got a new computer, fresh install of steam GTA V, no plugins. GTA V runs completely fine normally, it's only when I try to launch it through rage plugin.

    Try launching in force windowed mode.

    Launch rage Hold Left shift for a few seconds or click the settings icon next to the red X when rage is launching. 

    Game settings> Command line switches> Force windowed mode.

    Just tried that with no luck. My guess is that it might be my video card? When I check "disable directx hook" the game with rage loads fine, but i obviously can't it this way because i can't access the rage F4 menu etc. Maybe reinstalling video card driver?

    You have a mods folder? Check force directx11

    I figured it out! If i launch GTA V normally and once in game launch rage...it works! I just tried a bare bones lspdfr install and I was able to go on duty. Now on to the many vehicles and mods!
