Hello Just bought and installed GTA Iv, Because i wanted to try this First Respond mod,

Today i Learned to install Vehicle mods using spark, Thats good but i really want to learn how to install Script to, i watched alot of guides on youtube but cant really find one that helps me,

To begin with i just wanted to install The indicators mod that let you uses your indicators in GTA IV,

So i copied both files from the .zip into the Script map in GTA Iv Folder,

But i can understand that thats not it, I need more that this ?

you need .net framework 4 and c++2010 (x86) script hooks for the latest version of the game and an ASI loader to get them all to work However if you already have them all working,

You can add what you want, there is no true setup to gtaiv with mods as it's all user preference

These files, I put the just in the GTA iv folder? And what about the indicator files In the script map? In commons/scripts in the GTA iv folder ?

all depends on where they are supposed to be, read the readme files that come with most mods, the framework and the c++ are installed just like a program

This framework, Do you have a download link for that?

And what about ELS, Does that reguer any other programs ?

Does it make any diffrent i have the . 1.0.0.7 Version of the GTA IV?

And if i start by installing LCPDFR, Does it comes with the asi loader and all the files which is needed?

LCPDFR will install script hooks and an ASI loader, Dsound and Xlive are both asi loaders, use only one Dsound it the most common one

Hmm, OKay, But LCPDFR comed with an automatic installer right but i will just try start by installing the lcpdfr then, must work :)

before this gta iv wouldnt start after i tried installing asi loader and script hook and this by my self i got some error so i re installed the whole game, and gonna try again lcpdfr looks like a really cool game :)

did you happen to get an error message when you started the game something with asilog.txt access denied or something?

I think i tried that back when and did not help but this time i try install lcpdfr first :

if you did that and that same error didnt appear you have another issue, but try again and see what happens

Asuna, I cant install lcpdfr i miss one of the checkpoints in the installer that says, Games for Windows Live Redistributable 3

When i press Launch Nothing happend all the Rockstart Clubs thing comes and i press play offline, After that nothing happends

But im re-installing again this time i try starting it without installing patch 1.0.0.7 first to try see what the hell that is going on

if you slow down...theres wayas to find the issue....go to the Gtaiv install location, find gtaiv.exe, right click it, and hit run as administrator, tell me what it says
