GTAIV iDE Editor problems

Featured Replies

GTAIV iDE Editor is basically telling me to go f**k myself whenever I use it. Upon starting the program, it tells me an unhandled excepion occured. It says Access to the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\idemapbak' is denied.

veries

Then when I try to edit the files themselves, say, something simple like the flags, you know? Adding the multiple liveries to a car, right? And I try to save it, it says access to 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\common\data\default.ide' is denied

Ok, so the only solution to this that I could think of was to make all the GTA files NOT read-only, which I've already done. And this sumbitch is still giving me these errors. I had this a long time ago and it worked with no problem. Any suggestions?
