How long is "a while"?  You might need to update the update.rpf in the mods folder.  Temporarily rename the mods folder to _mods and then try loading in.

I'd say 4 or 5 months was the last time I played.

I will try what you said to do.

Thanks for your reply I was about to reinstall everything.

The fact that I couldn't play made me want to play more.

I don't know what the issue is, but it's definitely something in the mods folder.  What I was getting at was maybe the game updated during the time you weren't playing.  If that's the case, all you need to do is update the update.rpf in your mods folder.

If you want to start over mod folder wise, you can just delete everything inside the mods folder.

It looks like it's just the car mods is there a easy way to delete those?

Yep!  Go into the place you installed the cars, click "edit mode" at the top, then right click the car files and hit delete.

I’m having a little trouble swapping them out.  And I thought I saved back ups of the cars I replaced but I didn’t.   I went into iv it wouldn’t let me copy the files only extract. I’m doing something wrong.  I’m sure there is an easy fix but I can’t figure it out.

Any ideas?

What is the car you are trying to replace?
