So i have no issue opening up the game and i do the ctrl+P to go on duty. but it atomatically starts and i cannot enter a police station to change or get a vehicle. While responding to calls or having to shoot a suspect the police start to go after me. The game does not allow me to initiate a traffic stop. and the cars wont let me use the lights and sirens seperately. I downloaded a few police cars that do show up and work but the lights do not work yet the siren does. can someone help me or point me in the direction of where i can go to get assistance?

You should press Alt-P to activate the mod. Ctrl-P forces you to go on duty and is a debug feature.

You need to press shift in a police car while behind another car to do a traffic stop.

Also make sure you are using version 0.95rc2r2 if you want all the most recent features.

Make sure you are running the game as administrator.

You have most likely downloaded ELS cars without ELS. ELS is the Emergency Lighting System mod. Some cars use that mod for their lighting systems rather than the default one. The current version of ELS is v6.

You need to do some careful reading of things in future.
