Number keys change vehicle pearlescent / color

Featured Replies

Hello, so I have recently been installing a bunch of mods, mostly car mods. So one day as I went on a police patrol, and turned on my sirens with the number keys, I noticed that my police car gets different colored pearlescents as I press the number keys. And there is some text in the top left cornor with the "classic gta 5 font" which writes everything I do. Does anybody know how to remove/fix this?

It's your trainer.  Go into the settings and either disable keybinds, or remove those individual keybinds.

Hmm, I just removed my trainer, and it still does it. Might be a trainer I don't know about. Untitled-3.thumb.jpg.ed5d71eec712b1e298d78e4fb3c4b9e4.jpgUntitled-1.thumb.jpg.5c7056cc8b293ae6ca6e96b155b62ec5.jpgUntitled-2.thumb.jpg.662c94cef76b9d290b89f7c766258a21.jpg

And as you can see, the text is a completely different style.

My advice would be to temporarily remove every trainer you use and see if that fixes it.

I just did lol, but I might have gotten some kind of trainer with a mod that I weren't aware of. But I can't seem to find any other trainer in my GTA V directory...

Ok so, I have found a temporary solution. Whenever I change my siren with 1, 2, 3 for example, if I press 7 right after that, my vehicle changes to a black/dark pearlescent, which isn't noticeable. A little annoying, but I can live with it.

It's still something with your trainer.  A lot of them come with keybindings enabled.

Dude, for the second time! I already tried removing my trainer! And the problem is still there!

Then it's probably one of your scripts.  I recommend removing all of them temporarily.

Not surer if anyone else has but I've figured it out. Even though I never downloaded it somehow a script mod called color shot ended up in my game. In scripts folder delete the addins folder if it's there. That contains the color shot mod

It might be your carvariations.meta file...
Search for carvariations.meta in OpenIV
Locate the vehicle name that is giving you issues

It might look something like this:
<modelName>police4</modelName>
      <colors>
        <Item>
          <indices content="char_array">
            0   <-- primary color
            0   <-- secondary color
            11  <-- This is your pearlescent setting
            156
            0
            0

Try changing your pearlescent # setting

Hey, I have the same problem pretty much, but it occurs only with add-on cars. So the vehicles that are using the default in game names such as police or sheriff are ok, but I tried to add LASD car pack and when I spawn the car in it has this red reflection shade. I can see in trainer's vehicle color menu that util or prelescent shown as red but I can't change it. And I don't have carvariations.meta for those cars.

Yes this worked for me too. Its in the Folder "Grand Theft Auto V > Scripts > addins" . It installes automaticly if you install the realistic car pack.

I found what caused this, its in your scripts folder something like addon car spawner, it wouldve been in the OIV file used if you replaced all the cars in game. Ig just remove all the affiliated stuff and hope it sorts it.
