My quest to understand modding continues.

 

Question 1: Is anyone able to help check, correct and complete the unknows in my chart below? I am trying to match the models and their game names with the default slots in LSPSFR? I am looking for the right slots for these missing models ... POLMAV, POLICEOLD1, POLICEOLD2, and PREDATOR. I am a bit unsure also of the slot allocation of the others as well. and are simply logical guesses.

Question 2 - Suppose I download a mod and the files are destined to be used to replace sheriff2 for example. If I'd rather keep the existing sheriff2 model in SLOT7, is it as simple as renaming the new files to "RIOT.xxx" to replace the stockade in Slot14?

 

Question 3 - Is it possible to add more slots?

Just put them in all the same folder and replace what you want to replace.  This will overwrite all the patchdays, no need to worry about the original locations.

 

 

Also make sure you do this for addons

NYSP Albany Roadcruiser: Policeold2

NYSP Albamy Declasse Rancer: Policeold1

Feds' Vapid Police Cruiser is Police4

Feds' Bravado Buffalo is FBI

FBI Declasse Granger is FBI2

 

I'm unsure of the Hydra as well.

 

If you're going to add police/law enforcement slots than I suggest these two packs, I use them. You're still able to replace cars and such.
