Replacing default cars

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a question about importing/replacing new vehicles (specifically with ELS) into my game. I've gotten so far as getting OpenIV running, importing all the files to the right folders (in this case for example: GTA/mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday18ng/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf), but somehow those vehicles do not replace the default ones...

Am I doing anything wrong or did I forget something? I am running LSPDFR with multiple addons from Albo1125 as well as menyoo and ELS.

Thanks in advance,

Lukas!

With the recent GTA V update, your new folder to use is patchday19.

Make sure you have OpenIV.ASI  installed. To do this Open up OpenIV  on the top bar Click on Tools, then ASI Manager.  IF you don't see the top bar press F10 and it'll pop up.

Figured my mistake out.

I used to create all the necessary folders from scratch, but that apparently wasn't how to do it.

Thanks for the advice though
