els issue

Recommended Posts

Might be hard to tell with the picture but bare with me.

20180707131709_1.jpg

On the left i added a bmw which has els enabled and it is working fine as you can see the lightbar works ect.

now the bmw on the right for some reason has black rear lights, lightbar does not work also the rear lights seem to be out of place, i have not edited any of these files and added it the same way as the bmw on the left. this is my first els issue, all american cars worked fine and as did the bmw but this i'm having an issue with.

i have tried deleting, reinstalling the car, removing the installers, restarting my comp and re-installing them in openiv but nothing seems to work. the reason i have tried to remove installers via open iv is because every help thread that fixes the problem for people but not for me. And yes i do have the correct els file in the els folder.

If you do need a video this will match up to what my problem is; except my rear lights are fully black.

The model is from here; and no one else is reporting this issue so i'm assuming it's just me.

Any help would be nice thanks.

Just now, WHISKERS said:

Post how you fixed it so other people with the same problem will know 😉

haha yeah got caught up in adding alot of stuff :')

fix for anyone with same problem; if the rear lights or lightbar doesn't work then try switching vehicles. my vehicle was added to 'sheriff2' then switched to 'fbi2' then the top lightbar worked.

For the rear back lights just Replace the diffuseTint value to : <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />

not sure why blacked out windows causes the back rear lights to go black too but, that fixed it for me, guess it was down to the model of the vehicle too maybe.
