Whenever i try to mod a sheriff 1 vehicle to something different, the textures are all thrown off. This hasnt happened with any other vehicles but, I have looked things up on this and i have found nothing on it. The car on the interior is all chrome and so are the tires. The outside of the vehicle changes from colors in a weird way too. I don't really know how to explain this so i am hoping someone understands what i am talking about. I will leave a link here to an --> Unlisted Demo Video <-- so you might understan what i mean.

Did you add the correct shaders for the vehicle components and did you add all of your textures to both sheriff txd files?

i followed all instructions inside of the files

It seems you may have missed something, can you post any images of the ytd file, and where you installed the files, or better yet send the link to the vehicle you downloaded and i'll try it in my game and tell you what's what.

well the thing is that its happening with multiple files. anything i download to that slot. In a car pack i downloaded (it included sheriff1) everything else worked except for that one vehicle

That won't make any difference.  Pathcday18 is the newest patchday, therefore any replacement files which go there will override all others.  Some of the cars might work in patchday3, but the newest patchday is what will guarantee vehicle replacement.

 

@DeadmanPlays   You're using NaturalVision Remastered, correct?  Check my pinned GTA V facts, it'll be at the top of the actual FAQ list.

The best place to install police vehicles is in patch day 10, because there are no police/sheriff vehicles in that destination the game instantly thinks there is and loads them. This destination is great because if you experience any sort of vehicle issue then you know it's the vehicle itself and not the game or the destination where you installed them.

 

Not to mention that the PPD Mock pack is messed up to begin with, that author that created the pack didn't produce everything correctly. Some of the vehicles have the name like police2 and then the ELS file is named sheriff, and because of this you are getting the issue with the slot vehicle because of the authors mistake, not yours. 

 

You just have to do some work to get everything working correctly in that vehicle pack...

I just deleted my whole mods folder and reinstalled all of the mods I had in there. Even then my sheriff car is messed up and this time I downloaded different packs for sheriff and police. When I get home (in Florida atm) I will check what pack it is to be able to update you on that. Also, sik.sensed, I will try that and see what happens and update you on that as well.
