According to PC gamer, a rockstar LinkedIn account temporarily mentioned the game coming for the PC. More in the article below.

I have been keeping up with news on this game, all all signs point to it being terrible. Word is Rockstar is focused on the Multiplayer and micro-transactions and paid DLC than they are a long and interesting single player story. Odd's are the single player storyline will be reduced by countless hours and will be beat-able within 1-2 days. Then all you will have left is the " Red Dead Online " where you have to buy " War Bonds " AKA " Shark Cards " to compete with the other countless pay to win online players. GTA V was an okay game, but compare it to IV and aside from graphics you can see they did not try as hard as they did on the amazing transitional period where GTA 3 met GTA 4. If people really want to pay 59.99 for a 4-6 hour mediorcre single player story that's fine with me, but i will be boycotting Rockstar due to GTA Online ruining their marketing and game production practice. There will be no mod support, and replayability will be non existent except in it's Online mode. Which is of course where Rockstar wants you to spend most of, if not all of your time. So sad what Rockstar Games has become. North, South, and all Rockstar Games affiliates including Taketwo are even getting scummier. Not trying to be a bummer, but i would wait for some reviews from NON PAID youtubers to come in before anyone buys this game. Gamestop, IGN, etc are all paid for their reviews. Watch Worth A Buy or Angry Joe or various other unbias video game reporters. This all being said, i hope the game is great. I just have LITTLE hope for it being anything than a brief singleplayer story with a huge online content for cash grabbing. If you pay more, you legit get access to high level weapons before anyone else. You can BUY a faster and stronger horse than other players. It's just a painfully obvious pay to win online shitheap. So sad.

Yeah, sorry for the wall of text but i have been playing Rockstar Games titles since i was 13 years old, and i am 26 now. Been around since Grand Theft Auto was 2D and top down, and with the increase in graphics and hardware capabilities have come good games, but also shady marketing practices and increased cost of games and the introduction of in game paid transactions. Gotta' take the good with the bad, i will totally buy RD2 if i hear it's single player story is lengthy and not shortened and dumbed down. Not sure if i would get it for PC or PS4 however. I just hope it's good. Lol.
