Yes this is another thread about ELS not working. Before I start, I have used the sites search function as well as Google and YouTube. I have found countless threads all of which have solutions that were not a solution for me. This is the reason I have created a topic of my own. In addition I make it a point to VERY carefully read documentation and readme files. Unfortunately some of the ELS vehicles installed don't come with read me's or come with very poor read me's that assume the reader already knows most of modding which often times is false and leads to a million threads being created. However, for the read me's that did exist I follow all instructions to a T.

 

Unlike most other issues, I do not have taillight / headlight issues, handling is perfect, textures are perfect. Nothing looks glitched or "odd" the ONLY thing not working is the lights. This is NOT to be confused with the sounds. Sounds work fine, it's the lights flashing that does not work. This goes for ALL custom vehicles I have added which leads me to believe it's a bug. I have tried other solutions like uninstalling and reinstalling the OPenIV asi and loader, restarting PC but that didn't work. Also tried reinstalling my entire Plugins folder, I tried changing the window tint suggested in the sticky thread at the top of the support section, no luck. It's easier to say I have tried every solution pertaining to this on the first THREE pages of Google. Nothing has worked.

 

I am at a loss and while I feel like it's a bug, it's probably something ridiculously easy that I have overlooked. I know these cars work because there are videos from the authors with it working. Below I have attached my ELS log which shows all my vehicles being loaded just fine...I am at a total loss........

According to the log everything is fine.  I'm a little bit confused on what the actual problem.  You said the lights don't flash  - which ones?  The main lights such as the light bar?  Do you have ScriptHookV?  ELS requires this.

I noticed a lot of people are having this problem as I did in the pasted. I deleted everything and reinstalled and nothing worked, then I noticed on the ELS download page that antivirus software thinks ELS is a virus when it is not. You have to reinstall ELS, then on your computer got to settings, update & security, windows security, virus threat protection, exclusions. And add the three els files...ELS.asi ELS.ini ELS folders. Restart your computer and you should be good to go!!!
