The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Rage plugin problems

Hello everyone,

I know this problem has been posted up all over the place but I have tried every last thing I could. Read all the forum posts, watched all the youtube videos nothing. So my problem is that the rage plugin hook gives me the ol bad antivirus and insufficient permissions box whenever I try to load the game. So that's when I tried everything I could. Disabled antivirus, set all the .dll to unblock, ran as administrator, went into the rage setting and set to to force launch windowed and borderless window, my folder is named 'Grand Theft Auto V' and I also downloaded some scripts by albo and that didn't do anything. So I upgraded my computer from windows 8.1 to 10 for the fun of it and that didn't help either. Same text but not I also get slow system and my system is capable of running gta5 so I don't know what the deal is. If anyone can help me I'd be so happy. All I want to do is play this mod and it's just not working out for me. Thank you for reading and possibly helping me. and fyi I have the retail version of the game, not steam.

do you have more than one anti-virus? i would check, personally i dont have an anti-virus on my pc, but i just wont download shady sh*t

I have avast and windows defender. In avast I added my whole hard drive its in as an exclusion and then windows defender is off since I have avast installed.

try turning your avast off and see if that works.

No luck. I uninstalled avast and went into my windows defender and made sure everything was off. This is sad because all I want to do is play this mod but for whatever reason my pc is being stupid or maybe I installed something wrong but i followed a video on how to do it step by step and it was no help. I even deleted my gta folder it was in and made a copy of my original folder and tried reinstalling rage and the mod. still nothing.
