Hey guys,

 

I am a creator of Dutch sirens, and I noticed that the siren names inside of vehicles.awc have changed. The ELS siren names are not correct anymore. Can anyone tell me what te new siren names are? These are the old ones: 

 

• SIRENS_AIRHORN (Main air horn, 0x0EA58C7C.wav)

• VEHICLES_HORNS_SIREN_1 (Main wail, 0x0D329446.wav) • VEHICLES_HORNS_SIREN_2 (Main yelp, SIREN_2.wav)

• VEHICLES_HORNS_POLICE_WARNING (Main priority, POLICE_WARNING.wav)

• VEHICLES_HORNS_AMBULANCE_WARNING (Ambulance priority, AMBULANCE_WARNING.wav)

• VEHICLES_HORNS_FIRETRUCK_WARNING (Fire truck horn, 0x14BFBCE3.wav)

 

What are the new ones?

I'm not sure what you mean they changed.  All of the ones you posted are still accurate, you're just missing one.

If you go into openiv,and eport vehicles.awc to openFormats you can search for one of the above, and nothing will pop-up. I think it is on the latest version of GTAV.

Sorry to say, you're doing something incorrectly.  I just tested and all my audio files are there.

In-game all my sirens are working correctly, but they have names like SIREN_WAIL_01 etc.

I think you may of installed a siren mastery version of the siren.  All the sirens I've downloaded are the exact same and work flawlessly, and don't have those extra siren tones.

I make the sirens myself, I am working with the vanilla sirens, and haven't installed any siren mods. Are you on the latest gameversion?

Yes I am.  Try installing someone else's siren, then go into their vehicles folder and just replace over the sirens they have. 

The weird part is that it automatically replaces the 'normal' siren names with the ones i got. But the sirens do work in-game. For example: I download 0x0D329446.wav and it changes it to SIREN_PA20A_WAIL.wav, but it does function as 0x0D329446.wav.

I was installing some sirens today and I noticed the same thing, air horn went from the hash hex number to what I believe now is called "AIRHORN_EQD.wav" and the wail became "SIREN_PA20A_WAIL.wav" as WanderEDG said. I'm thinking OpenIV got updated and they updated the siren hashes names too.
