Hello. I have now had this issue for a while and its really annoying me. My game crashes whenever i enter either paleto bay or los santos, and idk why it does but it does. I have tried to replace my popgroups (as i have one thats custom) and i have tried to lower my settings but none of this seems to work at all. Idk when the issue started as i had been using sandy for a while. I am also certain its not a car since i have tried to disable all the cars and it would still crash.

 

I really hope to hear from some of you geniuses out there.

Your log provides no info, so my first guess is your mods folder.  Rename it to _mods

 

Now go in game and try in the city.

Hey i have now tried to rename it and my game dosnt crash anymore 👍 What may you suggest is causing the crash?
As i have mentioned, i have tried to lower my setts, remove NVR (natural vision remastered), swap out my popgroups.ymt and disable all the cars

I couldn't even begin to assume what is causing it. 😛  My advice is to revert everything you recently changed in the mods folder, or just revert whatever changed when this started.

i cant remember what i added that may cause the crash

Unfortunately, if you can't recall, my advice would be to remake your mods folder.

@Giordano I have found the issue! It is caused by NVR. Is there some kind of workaround? cuz i'd really like to keep the NVR. And BTW do you know why my pause menu is lagging?

I'd do a clean install of NVR.  I use it and have no issues at all.

 

Pause menu lagging might be related to the NVE issues.

Yeah, I meant NVR, my bad.   My only guess is you have other mods conflicting.  I'd start reverting some of your changes, or just redo the mods folder.  Again, I have installed NVR multiple times and never run into any issue, so I'd assume it's something on your end.

@Giordano might be...... 😩 dont wanna do a whole new mods folder

do you think that WOV (world of variety) can have anything to do with it?

It could be if there's a mod conflicting with it.
