It just loads and then brings me to the regular game menu. (see screenshot) not sure what I did wrong. or which I did out of sequence. The ragenativeUI file and albo.common files are  current.

 

What is going on?

 

I have done 3 clean installs in the past 2 days.

Are you loading via the RagePluginHook.exe?

Yeah, I have deleted my shortcut several times. Not sure if it's my antivirus or not... I will check. I've noticed that the shortcut is present by the icon is missing.

Hmm.. checked. Doesn't appear to be any AV software involved. But bizarre, when I look at the (RAGEPluginHook.exe) icon inside a folder on my backup drive, the icon shows up fine. When I move the file inside the Steam folder, the icon goes away. It's blank.

It seems if I copy over the RagePluginHook,exe file from my backup folder to the actual steam folder, the rageplugin file becomes a blank icon (see screenshots). When I move it back to another folder, the icon reappears. So I'm wondering if I can rename the main directory to something else without any issues running the game.

I'd do a clean install of LSPDFR and Rage, 'cause it doesn't seem like Rage is being recognized.
