Hey guys I could really use some help. This picture pops up but when I restart computer it tends to work. I am only using 1 gta5 folder via steam because I forgot to make a back up. Dumb me! Can someone tell me what I need to do for it to work??

a box appears and says Rage,  error. Could not hook game process. Insufficient permissions or bad anti virus. Please restart computer. This happens to me every time .

Run It as administrator

when you start rage, click the settings icon when it starts to populate. Then go to the last line which will be game settings, click that and then click command line switches....make sure you have force windowed mode checked. then you can open fullscreen in game

Thank you. I just tried that and it did not work. Any other suggestions?

you ad your gta folder to your exceptions list...google how to add file exceptions for a folder for _________ (the blank spot is where you put in what type of antivirus you have)

So I uninstalled everything even GTAV. I am starting fresh. I tried the exemption thing and that didn’t work. Do you know if the ragehook available right now goes with the GTAV version on steam?

yes as it works for me. is it still starting the first time, then not starting after you close out again or is it not working at all anymore?
