The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

LSPDFR says it is working but it won't work.

Firstly, I did a fresh download and install of GTA V and the only save game I have is just after the games intro missions, the heist gone wrong followed by Franklins first car repo.

Mods I installed: (In the order listed)

LSPDFR

RAGEHookPlugin

LSPDFR+

Arrest Manager

Assorted Callouts

Traffic Policer

Police Smart Radio

5 Button Smart Radio (This is just an ini file change for PSR to give it extra buttons)

I load the game up via the RAGEHookPlugin. As soon as the game loads LSPDFR loads and I get a message to say it has loaded successfully. Once I go on duty I get messages to tell me that Arrest Manager, Assorted Callouts, LSPDFR+ and Police Smart Radio have all loaded successfully.

So why does nothing work? I have not personalized anything. All buttons are set to the default that comes with each mod. So when I am behind a car and hit L_Shift to try to pull them over.....nothing. When I hit the D-padLeft on my controller the radio does not come up. Same with pressing C (the default keyboard key to activate the radio). The radio itself does not show at the bottom right of my screen like I believe it should. As for Traffic Policer, I get no message about that working.

I am 100% certain that I have the correct version of Albo1125.Common.dll and I installed each mod exactly as I was instructed to in the mod creator's very own installation videos. Yes, I watched the video for each and every mod.

I am getting so annoyed now I am getting ready to just quit, delete GTA V and forget the whole thing. Playing GTA V as a cop is something I always wanted to do but it just doesn't work. Please help!!

Go into the RPH console whenever thing is loading up at first and go to advanced settings. Check 'directx 11' and 'Force windowed mode'

If that doesn't work. Go to:

OpenIV>Tools>ASI Manager

Update or install everything that comes up.

Forcing DirectX 11 seems to have fixed the issues with everything except Traffic Policer. I am just writing that mod off as broken. I cannot seem to find any config files for LSPDFR though. Is there no way to edit which buttons you use for things? I use a game controller and I am finding it really difficult to hold down the E key on my keyboard to shout at them to stop while operating my controller at the same time.

It's pretty difficult to use only a controller. You can install scripts that bind the controller button to other actions for LSPD:FR.

Try this one, read through everything the author has to say as there are many different variations of the mod for different results.

That is a very odd mod. In the readme file for it it says, "Replace standard.meta in your Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update.rpf\common\data\control with the included file."

I have checked in my GTA V folder and I cannot find that path. There is no folder called mods anywhere within the Grand Theft Auto V folder in my steam library or in the GTA V folder within My Documents. I cannot find where this is asking me to replace the file.
