So, this has been going on for a while. When I open RPH from the game folder, it launches GTA, but it says, "GTAVLauncher failed to start" while GTA is on the loading screen.

 

I'm on GTA version 1290, 1.24 online, and using RPH 0.61 and I have LSPDFR installed

Usually mods can prevent GTA V from launching.  Are you able to launch GTA V via Steam or the normal GTA V.exe?

Yes, I can launch from both without any issues.

Where are your GTA V.exe and launcher located? and where is your RagePluginHook launcher?  They all should be in the Grand Theft Auto V folder.

 

Also, the folder has to be named Grand Theft Auto V

 

If you've renamed it to something such as GTA - mods, or whatever, change it to the above.

They're both in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V

Are you running any form of anti virus?  If so, add GTA V as an exception.  Are you also running in any form of compatibility mode?  If yes, disable that.

I'm am using an antivirus, but it is disabled. I'm not running it in compatibility mode either.

Right click the GTA V folder-->properties, and uncheck read only mode.   Now try.

Now it says, "Rage Plugin Hook has stopped working" after about 3 seconds on the ''Validating System" Screen

Nevermind, it says, "Error GTAVLauncher has quit unexpectedly". After it says that, GTA launches

At this point, there has to be either an installation error or unintentional user error.  I'd try doing a full reinstall of Rage and LSPDFR.

It still comes up with the error.

Try doing a clean install of ScriptHookV.  If that still doesn't work, don't launch Rage as admin.  Just launch it normally and see what happens.

Delete the SDK folder, that isn't needed.  See if that fixes it.
