RPH not working correctly with LSPDFR

Featured Replies

I recently purchased a new computer, and I freshly installed GTA V and LSPDFR. I also installed a variety of other mods that I used with no problem on my other computer (LSPDFR+, Traffic Policer, ELS, etc.) The game loads fine, and the Rage Plugin Hook logo appears on loading, it says "loading story mode with RagePluginHook", and I get into the game fine with no crashing. It even shows that LSPDFR was loaded, because the police station icons are in the game. However, for whatever reason, F4 will not open the RPH console, and when I try to go on duty, it doesn't show the "press E to go on duty" at the police stations.

I was trying with simple trainer and scripthookv, but I uninstalled them both to see if it would work, and nothing changed. I am using all the newest versions of all mods I have installed, and RPH. I know that it's not a mod causing the issue because all of them worked fine on my other computer, and I even tried using the troubleshooter tool that's available, and it didn't show any issues.

Any help is greatly appreciated, because I am at a loss.

Try this

Go into your RPH config console | Game settings tab | Click on the down arrow next to Command line switches | Then find "Force Windowed mode" and place a check in the box then Click on Save and Launch at the bottom

That worked, thank you! I'm clueless as to why it wasn't working in fullscreen mode, unless the latest version of RPH is messing with something, because I was able to use it flawlessly while in fullscreen mode on my old computer. Do you happen to know of a fix for this, because I'd really prefer to play in fullscreen mode if I can since the system's resources aren't fully allocated to the game in windowed mode like in fullscreen.

Very bizarre, but if I have to play in windowed borderless for it to work at all, so be it.

Edit: Through some more research, I figured out that pressing Alt+Enter in-game makes it fullscreen and everything works fine. Thank you very much for your help!

You're welcome. Yeah I meant to tell you that you could still full screen it after loading in. Glad to hear its working.
