ELS is too dim

Featured Replies

Hey,

So I already googled it and lead it back to this site, it appears someone had the same issue. But mine is different maybe?

My issue is, even when I put the vehicle pack (in mods folder) as well the ELS xml file into the ELS folder it turns out that after running LSPDFR, the ELS vehicle light bars are far too dim. Default vehicle are flashing fine, however there ELS is not responding correctly.

Yes I did put these in the mods folder from the beginning. I followed the guide perciously.

Any ideas, thanks!

So, just so I am understanding you correctly:

Your lights are flashing correctly, but they are just too dim? Or is ELS not working?

Have you tried downloading RadianceV? It makes the lights a lot brighter, you can use one of two options I believe. I have linked it below, if you haven't already got it installed, that should hopefully solve your issue.

They are too dim. ELS works fine, I can modify the pattern but again, the lights don't flash from the light bar. For some weird reason I can see the light on walls and streets but as for directly looming at the light bar themselves it it's extremely dim.

I'll have to have a peek at that when I get home. I saw that recommended before but we'll see if it Works! Thanks!
