No LSPDFR folder inside /plugins!

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've been having some trouble with lspdfr mod. I downloaded it yesterday and at first it wasn't loading so I had to choose "force windowed window" in RPH, not a very good first impression. But well I tried to load some other mods such as Computer+ and it is not even recognized by RPH in the plugins list, so I waited to see if it loaded by itself when I "go on duty" but nothing seemed to happen, I had the default computer. I've been looking for answers, tried reinstalling the plugin, and I've found that there should be a LSPDFR folder inside GTA V /plugins. But there is no folder. Just plugins, and the .dll and .ini files for lspdfr were autoinstalled there.

I need help to know if that's the problem why I can't load Computer+ plugin and I also want to know why there is no LSPDFR folder inside /plugins.

Thanks in advice

  • great, thanks again!

  • To clarify the above, read the ReadMe files its very important. Not everything will go into the Plugins/LSPDFR Folder. That is why I stress reading the Readme docs

  • yeah, actually i wrote this topic because i read in a readme file i had to install it into LSPDFR and there was no folder, so I didn't know what to do. I will always check readme files ;)

If you don't have an LSPDFR Folder sitting in your Plugins Folder, just create one and name it LSPDFR

Also, post a screenshot of your Plugins Folder

You can't load Computer+ because you don't have it in the right spot.  Computer+ goes into the LSPDFR folder, which is intended to be inside the plugins folder.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

Also, post a screenshot of your Plugins Folder

Just right click inside of that plugins folder and create a new folder and name it LSPDFR and read the post above yours for what Kallus said. So once you create that Folder then you can place those files into that folder.

I tried that but RPH doesn't seem to find the plugins if I add them to that new folder (LSPDFR) inside plugins folder

Okay put

LSPD First Response.dll and LSPD First Response.pdb back into the Plugins folder where it belongs.

So plugins should have those 2 files I told you to put back and a folder named LSPDFR

Good. Now take those 4 files and put them into the LSPDFR Folder, the one you created. Then screenshot it for me

Good. Now launch RagePluginHook and go on duty and see if it works.

Wow, thanks man it worked, i just had to hold "E". But, now, if I want to install more plugins, do i have to add them to the LSPDFR folder inside plugins folder?

Glad to hear its working and you're welcome. Just remember whenever you download new plugins, they should come with a Readme file that should have instructions for where to install files.

Some will tell you install the files into different folders.

Some might say place the files into your Main GTAV Folder and some might say

Install into "Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins

others might tell you

"Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\LSPDFR

Just read the readme files and they will tell you where to place the files. The name on the end of the path should be where you place the file. If you're really unsure there is no harm in asking on the page you downloaded the plugin from.
