Gta IV stuck in minimum graphics

Featured Replies

Hi there, I recently installed a steam copy of gta Iv which works perfectly fine. However once I make a copy and downgrade the game to version 1.0.7.0 the graphics will not come off the minimum setting.

Here are the things I have tried:

- Going to steam and editing the launch settings with “norestrictions” etc.

- Making the command line txt folder in gta directory and then adding contents to the shotcut target.

Any my help would be greatly appreciated, is there any way that lcpdfr will run on version 1.0.8.0??

Thanks in advance!

Launch settings, AKA "target", are not made in Steam. Find your LaunchIV.exe, create a shortcut, move it to your desktop, and enter in your launch settings there under "target".

Launch the game from the shortcut. You may be able to launch the game regularly through Steam and still have the settings be applied, although I personally can't confirm this.
