The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

When I tried to get online it said I was playing with an altered version of the game. My question is do I have to remove everything in order to play online or is there an alternate way?

 Yes. There are no alternative unless you play on something like FiveM.

Rockstar currently has a very rocky relationship with the modding community.

The best approach is to maintain two copies of the game folders and swap between them depending on whether you want to play GTAO or LSPDFR etc. Albo1125 has a great video on how to do this.

As you might guess, I make PeterUCallouts. I love working to bring LSPDFR players the kind of callouts that strike a good balance between realism and fun and are stable & varied!
